Gravity Games And Brewfest In Angel Fire

Angel Fire Resort is set to host the second annual Gravity Games and Brewfest over labor Day weekend August 29 – 31st. The Gravity Games and Brewfest will bring together outdoor music, a movie premiere, a mountainside brewfest environment with a vast assortment of New Mexico craft beers and three days of friendly biking competitions on the mountain. The three-day weekend will also include the grand opening of the new run Hungry Hippo, open rides, several competitions, live music and an outdoor movie.

On Sunday, the world's longest Boulder Dash train and photo shoot will take place at 11:00 A.M.

Music From Angel Fire

The 31st. year of this honored tradition has begun. Come and enjoy live music. World class Chamber Music with concerts and education programs. An impressive array of works from the great baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary masters will be performed by internationally renowned artists, including pianist Anne –Marie. O'Connor, cellist Peter Wiley, and violinist Ida Kavafian, celebrating her 30th season as artistic director.

Although opening night was August 15th there are still many more concerts to enjoy.

August 20th 7 P.M. Celebration of Ida Kavafian's 30th Season Angel Fire community Center Extraordinary music mixed with lots of laughs.

August 29th 7 P.M. United Church of Angel Fire Music by Bach.

August 31st 2 P.M Angel Fire Community Center Music by Mozart, Toru Takemitsu, Mendelssohn and Andrew Hsu : world premiere.

Special Events August 22nd 5:30 P.M The Hills are Alive...! Annual Benefit Auction. The lodge at Angel Fire Resort On a night all its own! Live music, light dinner, complimentary champagne and a performance by Young Artist as well as many unique items, trips and packages to bid on.

August 23rd 8 A.M. 3rd Annual Music walk, run & bike race. Come and be a part of this music from Angel Fire returns to Northern New Mexico for its 31st Summer festival of excellence!!
