The Kachina Chair Lift At Taos Ski Valley Kachina chair lift at Taos Ski Valley will be done by the fall. Once it is done it will increase the mountain's advanced and expert lift-service terrain by 50 percent and make the mountain even more of a skier destination. Once on the lift, you'll gain 1,100 feet of elevation in five minutes, going up the skiers-lift side of Main Street. Skiers will then unload 300 feet below the ridge line at elevation of 12,450 feet.

Taos Pueblo is having their annual Pow Wow July 11-13. It is a unique Native American festival with art & crafts events and plenty of food venders that are set up at the Taos Pueblo Pow Wow grounds. Taos is having its 47th Rodeo De Taos on June 28 thru 29,2014

The parade will be Saturday, June 28 at 10:00 A.M. It will start at Michael's and end at County Courthouse. New Mexico Rodeo Association performances 2:00 P.M. daily. Kids performances 11:00-1:30. Kids events include: Greased Pig, Calf Scramble, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending,& Goat Tying.

There will a dance on Saturday Night 9P.M.- Midnight at the KTAO Solar Center Music by: Dwayne Ortega.
