April 21, 2014 Veterans Cemetery Comes to Angel Fire Gov. Susana Martinez has chosen the Angel Fire area as one of the sites for a veterans cemetery. The cemetery is expected to be 3-5 acres in size. As the plans stand now, the cemetery will be built on donated land adjacent to the Viet Nam Veterans Memorial State Park. The cemetery will be managed through the New Mexico Department of Veteran Services, under federal guidelines.
