Fourth Of July In Taos : Come celebrate the 4th of July in Taos. Our annual Taos fireworks display will be held at the Salazar Extension and Paseo del Canon West, just north of the Juan Gonzales Agricultural Center at approximately 8:45 P.M. for 30 minutes.

Taos is having its 47th Rodeo De Taos on June 28 thru 29,2014

The parade will be Saturday, June 28 at 10:00 A.M. It will start at Michael's and end at County Courthouse. New Mexico Rodeo Association performances 2:00 P.M. daily. Kids performances 11:00-1:30. Kids events include: Greased Pig, Calf Scramble, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending,& Goat Tying.

There will a dance on Saturday Night 9P.M.- Midnight at the KTAO Solar Center Music by: Dwayne Ortega.

The Rodeo promises to be a lots of fun for the whole family.

We are having our local Down Hill bike race on June 28th. It will start at the top of Chile Express Chairlift and continue 2.8 miles down the mountain, a 1,700 foot elevation drop. The Dual Slalom Course is a quarter–mile long and has a 100 foot elevation loss. The races start at 9 a.m. Friday. We also are having our Rough Riders Bike Ride.
